Your elementary school could win up to $25,000 by tracking volunteers hours in support of recess and physical activity!
Here’s how to participate in the grand and ultimate prize phase:- Register your school in the challenge. Check to see if your school is already registered.
- Encourage members of your school community to volunteer between February 4, 2008 and June 8, 2008 and complete tasks that support recess and physical activity at your school.
- Have each volunteer complete the official volunteer tracking sheet when they volunteer. All volunteer hours must be completed by June 8, 2008!
- Submit all of your school’s documented volunteer hours before midnight on June 21, 2008, as follows
a. Fax: must be received no later than 11:59:59 a.m.
b. Email: must be received no later than 11:59:59 a.m.
c. Online: must be received no later than 11:59:59 a.m.
d. Mail: must be postmarked by June 21, 2008 and received no later than June 26, 2008.
After the official submission deadline, Cartoon Network will count the documented volunteer hours submitted by all participating schools and award one school in every state and the District of Columbia with the most documented volunteer hours $2,500. Also, the one school in the nation with the most documented volunteer hours during the entire Volunteer Challenge period will receive $25,000!
